Writer's Block...erm...Blog!

Whassat?
Just when you think it's safe to stick on your flip-flops and Bermuda shorts, it bloomin' snows again! There's been a tonne of snow up near Beano HQ which made us reminisce about all the great things we used to love about snow when we were kids...snowball fights, snowmen, snow angels and slides. The snow angels made me think of Minnie - cos she's no angel...geddit? Snow angel?? Ah, well! The story is funnier, honest!

We love animals and in the Beano office - in face, as you may have noticed, the Ed recently got a new cat from a cat shelter. We decided that the only downside to having a dog is the fact you have to pick up its poop. This made me think of a Johnny Bean script as anything (and everything!) happens in Happy Bunny Green! So the Mayor has a plan to train dogs to use the toilet - problem solved. Sort of!




The judges scored Fatty a 9 for his belly flop!

I had a very strange dream the other night. I dreamt that I was swimming in the sea, but all of a sudden, it turned into custard! Weird. So weird, that I had to write a script about it. The obvious character to choose was Fatty so it turned into a Beano Manga story. Mmmm...custard...
