Are you going to the party? Going to the Boston Tea Party?
I listen to music a lot. When I'm writing a script, I like to put on my headphones, play some music to block out the office and concentrate on what I'm writing.
One of the CDs I was listening to had an old, old song called 'The Boston Tea Party' by the Sensational Alex Harvey Band on it. That got me thinking about doing a Fred's Bed set around the time of the Boston Tea Party. So when I was writing the script I was singing along to the song.
"Are you going to the party?
Going to the Boston Tea Party..."
My singing is terrible, by the way. You're lucky you didn't hear me! My pals here in the office had to suffer it though. They might forgive me... eventually...
Minnie gets Teacher to spill the beans. Mmm... beans... I like beans, especially on toast, with a bit of cheese sprinkled on top... right, that's tonight's tea sorted...
Do you know what your Teacher's name is? Not their second name - their first name. Do you know? I was thinking that I never knew the first names of some of my old teachers, and got to wondering about how Minnie would find out her Teacher's name. And it occurred to me that she's probably never been in class early enough to hear the class say Teacher's second name either - and that's how this week's Minnie happened.
Aw, what a playful kitty! Isn't it nice? Muuum, can I have a cat like that?
What's your favourite subject at school? Mine was history. In fact I still love history. But what would Ball Boy make of History? He's obsessed with football - how can he make history and football mix together? Look in this week's Beano to find out!
