When we decided to have Minnie set out to become famous, we started to wonder about which celebrities Minnie would most want to be like... and one of the first names we came up with was Cheryl Tweedy. Cheryl wore red and black stripes like Minnie's in one of her videos so I thought Minnie should return the favour and dress like Cheryl.

The Fred's Bed in this week's Beano is the second of the Fred tales to have been suggested by visitors to Beanotown.com. 'top fan of dennis and gnasher' suggested that we send Fred to ancient greece, and so that's what we've done, and Fred meets some creatures from Greek mythology, including the horrible Gorgon, Medusa.




Fishermen always talk about 'the one that got away' - it's an excuse for not catching any big fish. I had that on my pad when I started working out a Meebo and Zuky and the two sort of merged together... and of course, I had to add the biggest fish I could think of, just to spice things up a bit.
